QuestionI bought a Sony cyber shot DSC-W830. To charge it you have to use the cord to connect one end to the camera and the other to a wall outlet adapter. Will this charge the battery? I want to charge a second battery rather than wait 2 hours for the first.

- Answer I believe the DCR-TRV27 camcorder uses an M battery. If that's correct you would need to purchase a BC-QM1 multi charger or a straight M charger. I have a BC-QM1 charger and it works GREAT! Unfortunately I do not know the model number for the straight M only battery charger.

- Answer I looked all through the manual and the packaging and did not see that particular battery listed. Unfortunately, I do not have an NP-FW50 to test for you. Apparently, the only battery models it says it will charge are the following; NP-BX1, NP-BN1, NP-FG1, NP-FD1, NP-FT1, NP-FR1 and NP-BK1. Good luck.
