• Yes, no problems. The tray even appears to have the recess needed to play 3" CD singles without an adapter, although I have not tried this.

• Hi, Steve. I just loaded a CD and yes, it does plays them. And it should also play Super Audio CDs.

• Yes, I play my music CD's on this unit all the time. Quality is very good for both music CD's and videos.
