“I have a Panasonic Smart TV. Will this DVD player capable of showing closed captioning on Netflix? My current DVD player isn’t. I also want to know if it will do this when it’s programmed to a Logitech Universal remote.”

I actually set up the captions on the Netflix app instead of any of my devices. Therefore, on any device I chose to stream from the captions are there. When comes to the remote control you mentioned, I believe once you program it to work with your different devices you should be able to turn on and off the captions using it.
