Is this region free player? null

Hi, Jack13! Unfortunately, Sony doesn't have region free player. The BDP-S6700 supports Region 1 (DVD); Region A (BD). -Erin

I believe so since I use it to watch 3-D Blu-ray films many of which are purchased from out of the country and labeled “region free” and the Sony player has no problems at all recognizing them and going right to the index page to select English as the language to play. It plays them all perfectly.
