No It does not. But you can Buy any player including this one That is region free with a factory warranty but it just cost more This particuler model is Twice as much. Just Googe the Model Number with "region free"at the end. Only Various Companys sell region free Players But they are available. So Google SONY BDP 6700 Region free and thats it....$200
