• Yes it uses an HDMI cable and it is not included. I purchased one seperately from another store for around $15. It really should be included, which I don"t understand. However, it is a very nice dvd/vcr player.

• Hi, TheRock, Yes, and no. To hook this up to a TV, you will need a high-speed HDMI cable, which is not included with the player. -Vincent
