The player is compatible with the following disc formats: DVDs: It can play standard DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, and DVD+RW discs. CDs: It can play standard audio CDs (CD-DA), as well as CD-ROM and CD-R/RW discs. Important Notes: Finalization: For recorded DVDs and CDs (DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW) to play, they must be correctly "finalized" on the device they were recorded on. Disc Condition: Please be aware that the playability of some discs may vary depending on the disc type, condition, and version. Discs That Cannot Be Played: The following discs are not supported by this player: BDXL discs DVD-RAMs HD DVDs DVD Audio discs Super VCDs Discs recorded in a color system other than NTSC (such as PAL).
