It's designed to provide audio primarily through its HDMI output, which can carry both video and multi-channel audio to a compatible receiver or sound system. Alternatively, if your sound system only has RCA inputs, you would need an external digital-to-analog audio converter (DAC) that takes an optical or HDMI audio signal from the player and converts it to analog RCA.
