If you purchased this from Best Buy they have the receipt. Here is how you get it -- goto service desk give them the credit card you used for the purchase, your name, and approx date of purchase. They will pull up the receipt. Now goto -- https://esupport.sony.com/US/p/select-system.pl put in your model and serial number. Generally SONY covers for 90 days full warranty 365 days product defect (including your issue with computer boot up.) I had one that failed 320 some days after purchase and they after 25 days did send me a new one. Good Luck hope this helps
