“What is the product warranty from Sony? Warranty time limit and what does warranty cover. Also what is not covered with warranty? I bought this product within the last 6 months, and love it, but now when turned on it shows the Sony Logo then flashes to a pink screen with static. I am upset because I know it has to be a defect, and would take back to the store with the original box, but I misplaced the receipt. Does Sony's warranty store date of purchase and price of product? I really don't know if I will purchase this same product again, if I will have to worry about replacing again before 6 months. Totally disappointed about not having this product to use, and worried about this products limited time stability”

If you purchased this from Best Buy they have the receipt. Here is how you get it -- goto service desk give them the credit card you used for the purchase, your name, and approx date of purchase. They will pull up the receipt. Now goto -- https://esupport.sony.com/US/p/select-system.pl put in your model and serial number. Generally SONY covers for 90 days full warranty 365 days product defect (including your issue with computer boot up.) I had one that failed 320 some days after purchase and they after 25 days did send me a new one. Good Luck hope this helps
