• I have had no issue playing any DVD's or Blue Rays, they both work or play very well.

• Hi Ranga, Sony Blu-ray players sold in the U.S. are coded to play Region [1] (DVD) / Region [A] (BD). It will also play discs labeled Region [Free], [0], or [All]. Thanks. -Anthony
