• Hello Rick, thank you for your message. Closed caption feature would depend of the DVD movie capability. Nevertheless, the Blu-ray disc player has the option available. -Oscar.

• As most discs have CC built-in, it should display it without a problem. I used it once to show some very low dialog. Can also be displayed in different languages.
