We have had this player for a few weeks now. Had to pause the new Beauty and the Beast movie several times today do to grandbabies. Lol. It starts playing immediately when you push play. Picks up exactly where paused. Streaming movies from Amazon seems to work pretty well to ! Hope this helps.
