Hi there, Thank you for reaching out. We are sincerely sorry to hear that your HT-A9M2 system arrived without a remote and that you’re experiencing audio drops with your XBR-65X850E. This "switching" behavior is often caused by a CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) conflict between connected devices. To resolve this and get your theater system stable, please try the following steps: 1. Power Reset and Handshake: - Turn off the TV and audio system. Unplug both from the wall outlet and disconnect the HDMI cable for 2 minutes. - Plug the HDMI cable back in, ensuring it is seated firmly in the eARC/ARC ports on both the TV and the HT-A9M2. - Plug the power back in. Turn the TV on first, followed by the audio system. 2. Enable BRAVIA Sync: Using your TV remote, navigate to: Settings > Watching TV > External Inputs > BRAVIA Sync Settings > BRAVIA Sync Device List > Select Enable. 3. Test for any external device causing interference: Unplug your audio system and TV again from the power, and this time disconnect all of the HDMI cords from the back of the TV for 2 mins. Then reconnect just the HDMI cord of the audio system and power on both devices. If the audio stays connected without switching, reconnect your other devices one by one. If the issue returns after adding a specific device, that device may require an HDMI CEC-Less adapter to prevent it from interfering with the system. Since your system is missing the physical remote and if the steps above do not stabilize your connection, please contact our technical support team directly so we can assist you: https://us.esupport.sony.com/support/s/support-contact?language=en_US&category=ht Thank you for choosing Sony!
