“Can you run an hdmi from a receiver to the bravia quad so as to utilize other components (AppleTV, DVD, etc) in receiver and then hdmi from receiver to tv? Or will the amp be too much power going to the quad system?”

Hi Robb, Thank you for your question. The HTA9M2 is a self-containing audio system and will not connect to a receiver. You can connect those component devices (Apple TV, DVD, etc) directly to the TV and output the sound to the BRAVIA Theater Quad.
