Sony boast it's updated the wireless modules and all in this model by 2.5x. I have the system and have yet to experience any dropouts (though I do maybe have it in a good spot away from routers or other interferences)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has been 100% improved (that was the main reason for my upgrade to the Quad from the A9). With the A9 we would get at least 1-2 drops outs per hour. With the Quad, we have yet to have any, and have been heavily using it daily for the past two months. I guess the solution of channel hopping and the expanded antennas that SONY came up with really has paid off.

Please try again later.No they did not improve the drop out are horrible don’t buy the original HT A9 but the 2nd generation that just came out 2 weeks ago they fixed the connection issues and improved the sound quality and fullness with more speakers get those instead I personally have the 2nd generation and couldn’t be happier!
