“I have wired speakers in my present Bose 5:1 Surround Sound System in use with an older model Sony Bravia 65” TV and would like to keep these speakers in use with a new Sony Theater Soundbar and a new Sony 65” OLED 8 Smart TV - is it possible? Thanks”

Hi there, Thank you for your question! We understand wanting to integrate your existing Bose speakers into a new setup, but the Sony BRAVIA Theater System 6 is designed to be a standalone system. As a result, it cannot be expanded with or connected to external wired speakers. If you would like to continue using your current wired speakers with your Sony TV, we suggest exploring our Sony AV receivers such as the STRAN1000. These units are equipped with the necessary ports and terminals to connect external wired speakers, allowing you to build a high-quality surround sound system.
