• Yes it will. I have the Sony STR-DN1080 Receiver with two of these subs hooked to it. They sound great.

• I have a Sony STR DH-590 and I had no problem connecting it - it works well, but like everything, you get what you paid for. I have it hooked up to my stereo in the basement; if it was my main stereo, I would think about spending a bit more money.
