It should have come with its own subwoofer cable which is basically a shielded Cable to RCA connection ends. I have a 790 myself and I bought 2 - 35 ft subwoofer for cables from Amazon. I believe they were about $19 a piece. I went to Amazon to because some of these places I looked at we're trying to gouge me with ridiculous prices I won't even mention. I absolutely love my system with seven speakers, surround sound and two subwoofers, I can almost see the sound as it envelopes me. Search around and you'll get satisfactionn. Good luck and enjoy...

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Sony STRDH790 active subwoofer. The cable came with it. The cable ends are RCA plugs. You can buy a subwoofer cable at Best Buy for $20.00. I think the product number is 6401894. The subwoofer adds a lot to the sound.
