“Can I leave my surround speakers in to the receiver and hook the subwoofer to the receiver instead of speakers going directly into the subwoofer?”

• The sub would connect to the FRONT channel, not surround, If you're attempting to add a sub to your surround channel, you should put down your keyboard and find a helmet asap.
