“Will “two” of these Sony subwoofers help with over heating? I own one and i can smell it getting hot sometimes. With open ventilation. Running the Sony 7.2 amp. Will two subs help over one?”

I use 2 just so I can keep the volume lower and balanced. The amp is outside the box so you’ll notice the heat n such. Many subs put the amp inside the box. Sony does this for some strange reason but I’ve not blown one yet. With 2 subs omg it’s nice.

Please take note that matching speakers and subwoofer with lower impedance (ohms) and watts than what the A/V receiver is rated may cause damage to the receiver and is not recommended.
