Sony made it to he used as a center speaker , if you use it as another speaker you probably will not get the sound you want because the type of spear that is in it and the size of them, it's perfect as a center speaker, if you read the manual PDF you will see a lay out of the speakers and part #b's of the speakers and where they want them
