• It would depend on how demanding you are. As a rear, you would not get the wide extremes of Highs and lows that you think of with dedicated surround speaks. I would be hesitant on using them for that. There are way too many adequate or better speakers that are designed for surround that have the better qualities. On the other hand, if junk like say, Bose, is all you are expecting then go for it.
