“I want to use these as rear speakers, and stage them behind the couch. But there are no pre-drilled spots for mounting them on brackets or a speaker stand. I need to angle them downwards, so they need to be mounted. Any suggestions?”

I used speaker stands on each side of the couch even with the back and facing the listener. They are at ear level and work best that way. If you need to you could drill a pilot hole in the speaker back and use wood screws to attach. These are particle board so you must use a pilot hole and the right screw so you dont split the wood.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yep here we go. So I went up to Lowes and picked up so threaded wood insets and drilled a hole in the center bottom on both of them. The wood is very thick on the bottom side, so you don't have to drill all the way. Just bring your stand with you and test fit your insets first befor doing anything. 10/10 would drill into 150 dollar speakers again
