“I know L, R, C need to be timbre matched. I currently have a Sony SAW2500 powered sub. And Sony satellites for the rears, and polk celling x 2 for Atmos . The sub and rears are good to stay in the setup? I will be upgrading my L, R, C. Thanks.”

I would say yes since it is always recommended to stay with the same brand speakers throughout. Since the Polk speakers you are using are for Atmos, I don't see a problem using them if you decide to keep them.

If you are referring to satellite speakers that are bundled with our home theater systems, we recommend upgrading them as well so they can keep up with the power of your Atmos-enabled speakers. You subwoofer may work with the setup, but getting an upgrade is never a bad option.
