how is the audio on this camera null

The audio is insanely good if you are directly in front of this camera! I use the camera, and haven't had any problems until recently with the microphone. I was filming and then I stood up, and upon standing up the audio quality dropped. So if you're in line with the camera and not above or below it, you should be fine. But if you're changing to different levels, then you may want to get an external microphone or consider another camera.
