“I bought this camera a year ago.. great camera. Wondering how when I look through the screen in low light condition it looks good.. the moment I start videoing it becomes darker. Is it something I can change in the settings? How?”

Set the mode dial to Movie Turn the control wheel to select the desired scene setting Select "High Sensitivity": Allows you to shoot still images even in dark locations without using the flash, and reduces subject blur. Also allows you to shoot dark movie scenes more brightly.
