“Does this camera shoot in RAW file format? I have never had a Sony camera before and do not know what the name of their RAW file format is. Canon is CR2 and Nikon is NEF.”

Hi RichNEPA, No. This camera does not shoot in RAW format. It only supports JPEG format (still image). Regards, Vincent
