“Compatibility I have a SONY ICD-P210, from which I used to transfer recordings to my Desktop PC with XP professional OS. I have purchased a Laptop with Windows7 OS. I have transferred my recorded files to my Laptop. I know that My ICD-P210 is not compatible with Windows 7. I know from reading the Q&As on your site ICD -PX312 is compatible with both windows 7 and XP OS and that it records in MP3 format. . All of my files from ICD-P210 stored on my Desktop and now transferred to my Laptop are in ".dvf" format; which must be a compressed file format used by my ICD-P210. I can not open these files on my Laptop which runs on w7 OS. I know that moving forward the ICD-PX312 seems to be a good choice for me. But, my question is this: After installing the software included with ICD- PX 312 will I be able to open my old ".dvf" file on my Laptop?.”
