“I can't get the ICD-PX312 digital voice recorder to be recognized by the "Digital Voice Editor" software. I have numerous models of the Sony Digital Voice Recorder... I have purchased a couple more (model ICD-PX312) and can't get it to work with the Digital Voice Editor software. The software doesn't recognize the files on the voice recorder. It came with the "Sound Organizer" software, but I prefer to use the Digital Voice Editor. Any suggestions or work-arounds for this? I have the latest version of DVE 3.3.01.11240. Thank you!!”

If the Computer has a 32 bit version Windows Operating System, then, uninstall the Digital Voice Editor Software and reinstall it. During the installation, keep the Sony Digital Voice Recorder disconnected. Ensure to select “Yes” when the option: “Do you have a P series IC Recorder?” appears during the installation.
