• The Sony ICDPX312 Digital Voice Recorder has a stereo Microphone mini jack. You can use the ECM-TL1 headphone-type electret condenser microphone (not supplied) to record sound from a telephone or a cell phone. Set the “Select Input” option in the menu of the Sony Recorder to “MIC IN” during recording. Note: It’s required to connect the LINE OUT of the phone set to the MIC IN of the Sony ICDPX312 Digital Voice Recorder.
