Is this lens really worth the weight and money? null

I would say for the quality that it gives your work, yes! Worth it.

Being a 1.4 and a Zeiss it’s a great lens ...for landscape and some portrait shots it can give you amazing images, I will say that I like the 50mm 1.4 Sony Zeiss a little more seems to have more pop in the pictures but if you’re looking for a wide angle lens this is great and can be used for portraits if needed, build quality is great.
