When taking a video with this camera, is there a time constraint? I have a Nikon D3100, and with that I can only record up to ten minutes of footage at a time. Also, while shooting a video, is there continual autofocus? Thanks! null

ALL still cameras with video capability are limited by tariff law and firmware to 29:59 (just under 30 minutes). Anything with higher "capacity" is considered a movie camera and is taxed at a higher rate.

Camera stays focused as distance changes.

There doesn't appear to be a time limit, but I haven't seriously tested it yet. The focus is continual but keep your arm steady.
