Try formatting your memory card. It maybe that your card is corrupted and a complete format should clear that up. Hope this helps.

Hi carla, we suggest checking the compatibility of the card with the camera. You can use any of these cards: Memory Stick Duo/Pro Duo,SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Card and micro SD cards with adapter. Also, format the card in the camera before intial use. Thanks_Mitch

Sounds like something is wrong internally with the camera. I would advise you to see a tech to try and pin point the problem. Hope this helps you out.

Probably bad card,. Try it in a computer. You may need to format the card. Try another card and see if the camera does the same thing.
