- Answer The camera comes with a cable to connect camera and computer, bu for YEARS I have used the SONY CARD READER to INSERT THE CHIP AND import the photos.

- Answer I do not think this camera has any wi-fi capabilitites. If you connect the camera via supplied USB cable to your computer, you can download some software from Sony to your computer.

QuestionWhen recording video and letting the camera sit still unattended, say on a stand, will it go to sleep and turn off on it's own, and if so, how long until that happens? I prefer that it will it not stop recording until runs out of memory or battery power.

QuestionHow does this camera compare to DSC WX 350, and does this camera function well for Alaska pics. How do each of these cameras function in low light? Laura H

- Answer This is not a great camera in low light. The auto-focus is incredibly slow and it will slow the shutter speed down so much that most low light pictures are blurring because you can't hold the camera still for a full second.

- Answer I think so but I haven't tried to do it. I bought the camera for my grandson for his birthday. He's quite tech savvy for an eight year old and I wanted a camera that he could really get into and do things with. P. S. He helped to pick it out.

QuestionDad's DSC-W70 quit working, and I've suggested he replace rather than repair. He has the adapter that attaches to the tripod mount, and both wide and telephoto lenses already. Would that setup work on the DSC-W830?

- Answer You would have to update the post with the adapter info (make/model etc) or check with the manufacturer of the adapter. i would imagine that there is enough of a difference that they may not work together.
