• You will need a Sony A-mount to E-mount adapter. I believe the higher end Sony model adapter (~$350) allows auto-focusing of this lens on the NEX 5N.

• Yes, the Sony SAL50F18 Lens is compatible with the Sony NEX-5N Camera. The Sony LA-EA1 Lens Mount Adapter is required to use the Sony Lens with it. The Auto Focus feature will work after the Firmware in the Sony Lens Adapter is upgraded to version 02.
