“Can this be converted to play region 2 (I.E., United Kingdom) DVDs?”

• No it's only for region 1 or all ntsc only . To play all regions and pal DVDs you must pay $$ and buy a MARTIN RANGER DVD player at around 3 times the cost for the most basic model but the machine is reliably and the picture quality is superb, with a nice and bright fluorescent front display ; worth the money.

• My unit does not have a Region designation anywhere - the documentation states that it can only play Commercial DVD's.
