“Is this DVD player easy to set for wide screen TV? My old SONY cuts the picture down when you zoom in for my TV (50"), I want to watch the movie without cutting heads off with the zoom.”

Yes this is hooked up to my wide screen and it works and looks perfect I have a 50”
