• Buy a panasonic s700 or s500 DVD player if you need that feature most buyers want the display info to disappear in 6 seconds to avoid disturb movie viewing

• Hi BGM, This is normal, It is not possible for the text display to remain on the screen for too long, Menu/Info only shows up for few seconds so that it will not interfere on the video playback. Hope it helps! Regards, Sam
