-- I wouldn't bother unless you can't physically reach behind your t.v. and player. There are only two wires used--one is the power cord and the other is the hdmi cord going from the back of the player to the back of the t.v. --

Buy an HDMI cable and plug one end into an HDMI port on the back of your TV, and the other end into the port on the back of the DVD player and you are all set. Turn the tV and player on, select the input for the HDMI port you used and pop in your DVD and play and you are good to go.
