Is this compatible to Sony DBP-S1700 null

I think yo meant comparable, not compatible not sure. The unit you mentioned in your question appears to be a wired Ethernet streaming capable blu ray/dvd player. If yo meant compatible I don’t see why you couldn’t have both connected to a Tv at the same time on different inputs. If you mean comparable then , no. This unit is a DVD only player that upscales to 1080 HDMI, and just plays all types of DVDs and CD’s, and doesn’t stream. It also doesn’t play Blu-ray Discs either.
