Will this play a blue-ray dvd? null

Hello Hope4, No. The Sony DVP-SR510H plays ONLY DVD. Being that it's made by Sony, I'm certain it plays DVDs well. But if you want to play Blu-Ray discs, my experience is that the Sony UBP-X800 is fantastic! I bought it at Best Buy in Los Angeles. They had a sale going back in fall of 2018. Actually, I bought 2 of them: one for me and one for my ex-wife as she had just bought at 55" big screen. Not only does the UBP-X800 play regular Blu-Rays, it also plays the newer 4K Ultra HD Blu-Rays. They look gorgeous! Sound and picture quality is superb!
