I can take the disc out and put it back in and will start right where I left off.

Hi, Yes. It will resume to the last point of viewing. Multiple-disc resume allows you to power on your player and return to the last scene you were watching on up to six of your most previously watched discs without having to search. -Anthony

Yes. I've watched several dvds this week and had to stop in the middle of the movie. Each time, it started where I left off.
