Hi WillieB, Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. The lens is fully compatible with the camera. Please note: In Ver. 2.00 or later and in Ver. 3.00, distortion or a decrease in peripheral light may be noticeable at the wide-angle and telephoto ends. You can change the operating direction of the zooming ring by upgrading the lens software to Ver. 02 or later. Thank you so much for your question.
