Hi Wilson, Sony commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. You can use the SELP18105G lens with the ILCE6700 camera with the following limitations. The Lens Comp.: Distortion setting will be set to "Auto", lens firmware Ver. 02 or later is needed to be able to change the operating direction of the zooming ring, and noise may be visible when the sensitivity is high.
