“Can I use the MI connection to capture audio and the 3.5mm out for headphones to monitor audio at the same time? I am using a zv1 so I am looking for creative ways to monitor audio since this camera does not have a headphone jack.”

Hi Alfonso, Sony commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. You can not plug in headphones on the microphone out jack of the ECMG1 shotgun mic. That output jack is to connect the mic to a camera that doesn't support multi-interface shoe. Regards, Larry Sony Social Support
