“Will the chat function work with Xbox one? Most earbuds audio works but they do not work for chat. Has anyone tried them with Xbox one?”

• Xbox one does not allow you to use standard headphones as a mic. You need to have gaming sets for that. They work well just for sound, and if you have xbox set up with windows, you can use these headphones on your computer as a microphone in parties.

• Yep, I use them all the time to chat on my Xbox One. Need that stereo adapter adapter though, for the controller
