• initially pair it manually using the bluetooth settings on your macbook

• Hi Z, Please check if your macbook supports A2DP / AVRCP Bluetooth profile. You may have to contact the manufacturer of your macbook for further assistance on pairing Bluetooth devices. -Anthony
