I had the same concern with mine, but if that’s also what you’re experiencing it might have been designed like that. I did notice that the inside component of the lens only does that when it’s both unattached and attached to my camera while the camera is off. Once I turned my camera on, the back and forth shaking of the inside component is gone. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That's a function of the lens. It's a magnetic focusing system, is my understanding. So, unless the lens is powered on, it is loose inside the body of the lens.
