• It has a 3.5 mm auxiliary port and it comes with a cable. For apple devices you would also need the lightning adapter if your device does not have a headphone port. Note that the aux only supports 2.0 stereo sound, not the full 7.1 digital surround sound.

• Use bluetooth connection . It has very easy to follow set up instructions. My 10yr old nephew had no problem setting up and using it on his own. Is compatible with any device that has a bluetooth connection.
