“Is there a specific DVD recorder to use with the Digital Handycam / Sony 8 700x Digital Zoom steady shot.? We need to purchase another dvd recorder and the one we have is ancient and instead of buying a used one, I wanted to know if this handycam can be used with any brand of dvd recorder. Thanks!”

• Hi mjg, we would suggest purchasing a recorder that can read AVCHD files or even 4K. Or you can turn on the Dual Video Rec to record AVCHD and mp4 or 4K and mp4 at the same time. Thanks_Mitch

• Provided your Sony 8 has RCA connectors (which if I remember most do) and the DVD recorder has RCA in connectors you should be in great shape to transfer them.
